QarPul is a community-based ride facilitation platform that helps users discover and coordinate shared travel opportunities across Canada.

Drivers using the Platform are independent individuals and are not employees, agents, contractors, or representatives of the Platform.

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Provide accurate, truthful, and complete account information.
• Comply with all applicable local, provincial, and national laws and regulations.

By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Users may create accounts using email/password or authorized third-party login providers (such as Google).

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your credentials.
• Protecting your account from unauthorized access.
• All activities and communication occurring under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or engage in harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

Drivers may post rides including origin, destination, departure time, available seats, and personal preferences.

• All ride information must be accurate, up to date, and honest.
• Rides must comply with all applicable local highway traffic laws.
• Users are solely responsible for coordinating their own travel logistics.

The Platform reserves the right to remove ride listings that violate Platform rules, appear fraudulent, or create safety concerns.

The Platform does not provide transportation, own vehicles, employ drivers, guarantee ride availability, supervise trips, or control user behavior. All travel arrangements are made independently between users.

Users assume full responsibility for:

• Transportation decisions.
• Personal safety precautions.
• Trip coordination and communications.
• Compliance with local laws and highway codes.
• Ensuring valid personal vehicle insurance requirements are met.

The Platform does not process payments, collect fares, process transactions, provide escrow services, determine pricing, or guarantee reimbursements.

Any fuel contribution or expense sharing is arranged directly between users outside the Platform. We are not responsible for payment disputes, refunds, or financial disagreements.

Users must behave respectfully and responsibly when communicating with others. Users must not:

• Provide false or misleading information.
• Impersonate another person.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others.
• Post illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content.
• Use the Platform for commercial transportation/freight services.
• Violate any local, provincial, or federal law or regulation.

Interacting with strangers involves risk. The Platform cannot guarantee user behavior and does not conduct background checks unless explicitly stated.

Users are responsible for exercising personal judgment, verifying ride details, and taking appropriate safety precautions. In emergencies, contact local emergency services immediately.

Users may leave ratings and reviews after trips. We reserve the right to remove misleading or abusive reviews, moderate inappropriate content, and suspend accounts abusing the review system.

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect user data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may modify features, restrict access, suspend services, or discontinue parts of the Platform at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform and its operators shall not be liable for accidents, injuries, losses, disputes between users, missed rides, vehicle issues, or any damages arising from Platform use.

Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform, its owners, operators, affiliates, and partners from claims arising from your use of the Platform, your conduct, your violation of these Terms, or disputes with other users.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time if these Terms are violated, harmful activity is detected, or misuse of the Platform occurs.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
